H441: Legal Aspects of Healthcare Administration
Legal Case Analyzation
This artifact is a legal case analyzation I completed for the course H441 - Legal Aspects of Healthcare Administration. This paper focuses on predicting claims that will arise in a trial due to the events a patient experienced.
What I learned
While completing this assignment, I had to be able to recall requirements for certain claims to be brought forth. With this case specifically, the primary claims in consideration were negligence and malpractice. I managed to determine that these claims were likely to be successful if brought forth by the patient, given the timeline of events. This assignment utilizes key information I learned during the course, including torts, claims, and damages. I was able to takeaway key information to form a basis for what claims were of utmost priority, which is one of the key learning objectives throughout this course.
