H401: Strategic Planning in Health Organizations

Strategic Planning Document

This artifact is the strategic planning document I formed with a group for Community Hospital Anderson, done for the course H401 - Strategic Planning in Health Organizations.

What I learned

During this project, I had the opportunity to learn more about what goes into forming a strong strategic plan. This project involved analyzing the environment, service areas, internal operations, and finances. I performed a SWOT analysis with the information I had collected, then went on to form strategic initiatives to be upheld with the implementation of the strategic plan. Working with my group, I built my communication and time management skills to form a strong presentation. Additionally, my section of the presentation fostered growth within my public speaking. This document and presentation has allowed for me to effectively analyze and assess the strengths and weaknesses of healthcare organizations, as well as find areas for growth within them.
