Future Goals
In my professional future, I will be pursuing a long-term career in healthcare information technology (HIT) sales. Following my graduation in May, I will start a position at EXOS where I will be working as a Technical Recruiter. At this organization, I aim to become a part of their sales development team in a few years, where I will have a direct pathway to working within HIT sales. I hope to further develop my communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills within my future position at EXOS to set me up for success.
Future Learning and Development
Around 3-5 years into my professional career, I intend on attending graduate school to complete my Masters in Health Informatics. Furthermore, I plan on completing the following certifications prior to entering HIT sales:
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS)
- Certified Healthcare Technology Specialist (CHTS)
- Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
With these developments, I will achieve my long-term career goal of working within HIT sales.
